Employee Assistance Program

The University of Windsor has retained Morneau Shepell, an outside counselling service, to provide professional counselling information services to staff and their eligible immediate family members. There is no referral required by the University or by a physician/counsellor.  All calls are private and confidential to Morneau Shepell and no individual information is shared with Human Resources or the University. 

There is no cost to individuals seeking support.  If longer-term or more specialized counselling is required, Morneau Shepell will make a referral to the appropriate professional or agency in your community.  The fees for this referral are the responsibility of the employee or the family member, but some of these services may be covered by provincial health care or the extended healthcare plan from the University (Green Shield).

The Employee Assistance service is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
