LETTER XII - Internal Posting of Teaching Intensive Faculty Positions for Sessional Instructors

When a teaching intensive faculty position is created, it shall first be posted internally for current sessional instructors who have taught in the relevant AAU within the two (2) previous academic years. The Employer shall notify the Association in writing, post notice of the position on the Faculty Recruitment website, and publicly post the position in the AAU for a minimum of twenty-eight (28) working days. The normal appointment process for handling applicants will apply consistent with Article 12. In the event the internal search is declared failed, a full and open search shall be undertaken consistent with Article 12. By July 1, 2024, the parties will meet to review the process and discuss the effectiveness of the same
